We are looking for very outgoing and friendly personalities. We want people who are
proud of where they work and proud when customers compliment them as part of
great team of employees. We look for people to join our team who can both think for
themselves AND be a good team member. You must be able to think on your feet and
to multi-task. We want people who want to work at Scooter's.

A few other things to consider:

  • Scooping frozen custard looks like fun from the customer side of the counter, but believe us, it's hard
    work!  But, you will never work with a nicer group of people and you will never work with nicer
    customers than in the ice cream business. And, the basic skills you learn in our business can be very
    good habits as you move on in life.  Therefore, you must like working in a fast paced, team
  • The majority of our business is on week nights, after 6pm, and on weekends, especially weekend
    nights, so those are the times when we need people to be available to work. Especially in the spring
    and fall, we have a small need for people who are able to work the day shift, but you must be
    extremely mature and independent and able to multi-task.
  • We are in the food business and therefore, we are OPEN holidays....Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day,
    Thanksgiving weekend....and you must be available to work those weekends.
  • Students that are available to work Spring and after Labor Day are a bonus. Our season is in full swing
    by late April, so we hope to have most of our staff on board and trained by then.
  • We have a few summer only employees who can satisfy the above criteria. But, if you do not get out of
    school until June and go back in early August that puts you at a disadvantage.

Full Time Manager
Part-Time Crew Members

We are currently looking for an experienced Full Time Retail Manager.

Must be able to Manage a Crew of up to 20 individuals.
This is a Full Time, Year Round position

Our atmosphere is family oriented, catering to kids of all ages. We are looking for employees who
can start late February and seasonal employees who may be interested in summer employment
beginning in mid-spring.
